DOW UPDATE
The Dow Jones Industrial Average is rallying Friday morning with shares of Dow and Walgreens Boots delivering the strongest returns for the price-weighted average. Shares of Dow and Walgreens Boots have contributed to the index’s intraday rally, as the Dow is trading 474 points (1.4%) higher. Dow’s shares are up $1.99 (3.8%) while those of Walgreens Boots are up $1.02 (2.9%), combining for an approximately 20-point bump for the Dow. Other components contributing significantly to the gain include Travelers Caterpillar and Nike A $1 move in any of the index’s 30 components equates to a 6.59-point swing.
