The stock outperformed some of its competitors Friday, as Microsoft Corp. rose 1.18% to $224.93, Alphabet Inc. Cl C rose 1.60% to $88.16, and Alphabet Inc. Cl A rose 1.32% to $87.34. Trading volume (86.8 M) eclipsed its 50-day average volume of 84.4 M.
